The cow is considered sacred in many religions. It is a symbol of good and wealth. In India, the cow is believed to be a symbol of the earth - because it gives so much yet asks for nothing in return. In Greek mythology, the cow was sacred to the goddess Hera who was herself described as “cow-eyed”, which later on was understood as “big eyed”, since in ancient times a cow was a symbol of beauty.

Pea is teaming up with biodynamic dairy farmer, Tom Ventham, in offering you this unique course; a fusion of our dear domestic animals and sacred cows. Tom is an inspiring herdsman who has a very special relationship with his cows and a simple way of dairy farming. He has been taking care of the cows for over 30 years and at Plaw Hatch each cow has a name. We may also be able to communicate with Bob the bull.

	•	Learn the basic skills of animal communication.
	•	Be guided through meditations specifically designed to open you up to this senstive energy work.
	•	Gain practice with animals who attend as guest-teachers.
	•	Hear from farmer Tom about biodynamic farming, what cows do and how to keep them happy.
	•	Communication practice with your own animal via their photo.

Plaw Hatch farm is a 200 acre community supported dairy farm on the edge of the Ashdown Forest where there is focus on respect for the land and the animals. Within easy reach of East Grinstead station.
